The cost of the peel is determined by the strength of solution used and the number of coats applied. Combination peels with TCA and Jessner’s solution are also available.
There is an extra cost of around $50 for prescription strength skin care required to prepare the skin prior to chemical peeling.
*Medicare rebate may apply if chemical peel is used for significant sun damage and precancerous sun spots. Under these circumstances the out of pocket
expense may contribute to the Medicare Safety Net.
